The discoveries come just days after five such devices were discovered across Montgomery County.
Both skimmers in Bucks were discovered Monday, March 13, and found in Penndel Borough, police said in a statement. One was located at the 7-Eleven at 527 West Lincoln Highway, and the other at Express Gas, 652 Bellevue Avenue, the department added.
Penndel police said they have received "numerous complaints" regarding suspicious devices in the past, and that they have been "frequently checking the pumps" around the borough for skimmers.
Monday's discovery was the first time that the department actually found any skimmers, and officers will be "increasing our frequency of checking the pumps" moving forward, they said.
No arrests have been made and the owners are cooperating with investigators, the department wrote. Any area residents who might have shopped at the affected stores should monitor their bank activity and seek to replace their card, police warned.
Just a week ago on Tuesday, March 7, similar devices were found in Norristown and Conshohocken, as Daily Voice reported. Then on Thursday, March 9, another pair of skimmers were located in Abington Township. All five of the Montgomery County skimmers were discovered at 7-Elevens.
Authorities have not reported making any arrests in connection with the Montco devices.
